The tablets are placed in the appropriate cell of the measuring vessel (tester) after the cells have been filled with the water to be measured. When dissolved, the tablets change the colour of the measuring water depending on the pH value and the chlorine content. The pH and chlorine content of the water can be determined by comparing the colour of the measuring water with the colour scale.
